Kakapo Arts have a number of projects which we are currently working on. These include:
Moving On: This is a beautiful collection of poetry read by some our most treasured actors, including Martin Shaw, Steven Berkoff, Maxine Peake, Emilia Fox, James Wilby, Hugh Quarshie and Claire Goose. It is a meditation on the different aspects of grief and how we deal with loss. The audiobook contains some beautiful original music composed by Whippet.
Our Little Boat: The follow-up to our award winning debut film The Beachcombers is currently in the editing stage. We hope to have it ready for release at the end of the year. Featuring the voice of Martin Shaw, it tells the story of three generations connected in love grief and death by an old rowing boat.
JON - THE MUSIC MAN
Performing at The Counting House at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
A great fun show for the little ones.
